ICAN Examination
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria offers the highest level of examination and certificate for chartered accountants in Africa.

How To Register For ICAN Examination
Follow the steps below to register for the ICAN examination.
- Visit a commercial Bank
- Pay a registration fee of ₦7,000 via pay direct
- In place of the above steps, you may make your payment via the ICAN official website here.
- After payment (regardless of the means of payment) visit ICAN’s website here.
- Get your receipt and start your registration.
- Upload your passport
- Print the completed form and sign it
- Fill in the details of a referee or your chattered accountant sponsor (name, membership number, and phone number).
- Take the completed registration form to your sponsor or referee for certification.
- If you are applying as a holder of the Association of Accounting Technicians Certificate, include your conference and induction receipt (you would have paid the sum of ₦23,500 for this?
- Also provide two certified passport photographs, your original pay direct receipt (if you paid in the bank), and a pin voucher.
